Our Kid’s A Bit Different

A period of research for a new show inspired by, and aimed at, parents of Disabled children allowing us to tell a different story, in a different way and to a different audience.

2025

Holding The Door Open

Holding The Door Open was an inclusive artist residency, open to ten artists who work in performance, based in Thailand in partnership with BICT Fest

1996 – Ongoing

Graeae Theatre Company

A life long partner and collaborator, Graeae Theatre Company has been a creative playground that continues to this day. Here we show just a few highlights of those past 30 years!

2017 – 2021

Wild N Beets

Nicola Miles-Wildin and Daryl Beeton set up a new collective Wild N Beets, resulting in their now infamous characters Beryl & Cyril, as a way to create and present outdoor work that took Disability politics on to the local high streets.

2020

Back to Normal

A partnership with First Arts and Mansfield-based disabled advocacy and grassroots activist group  OneConversation. Back to Normal was a digital project challenging the norm for the learning disabled and autistic community.

2015-2020

Drake Music

Daryl was Artistic lead at Drake Music, who are leaders in music, disability and technology. Daryl worked with Disabled artists, musicians and young people to use new technologies and ideas to open up access to music for all

2005

Moments In Motion

Daryl created his very first independent show. Moments in Motion was a one man show that explored childhood memories of loneliness and their impact on adult life and the search of ‘Mr Right’. A mixture of comedy, theatre, movement and trapeze!
